- Crypto Travel Dot Net operates the website and acts as an online travel agency connecting you with Suppliers. Crypto Travel Dot Net is independent and not a subsidiary/trading style of any partner company.
- Merchant of Record: Card and crypto payments for bookings on CryptoTravel.net are processed by Crypto Travels Ltd (Company No. 15561576), 5 Warrior Square, London, England, E12 5RP.
- Operations partner: Customer support, assistance, service & issuance operations may be performed by UKVibes Ltd trading as Travel Vibes UK (Company No. 14635905), 7 Carlton Mansions, 20 Carlton Road, Manchester, M16 8BB. Operations do not confer control over CryptoTravel.net assets/accounts/payments beyond normal service tasks.
- Ticket issuance: Tickets may be issued under partners’ IATA accreditation and, where applicable, ATOL protection. Unless expressly stated, we do not sell packages within the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations.
- Your contract of carriage is with the airline(s) named on your ticket.
3) Accuracy & availability
We aim to keep prices, taxes, surcharges, baggage and schedules accurate, but they may change before ticketing. Services are provided on an “as available” basis and may be affected by Supplier systems, Duffel/API availability, payment providers, email systems, maintenance or outages.
4) Booking & payment
- Full payment is due at booking unless stated otherwise.
- Accepted methods: cryptocurrency via Coinbase Commerce; card via Stripe; bank transfer on request (confirmed after cleared funds).
- Prices appear in your chosen currency; for crypto, the rate is fixed at checkout. We may refuse or cancel any booking for fraud prevention, compliance or availability reasons.
5) Fees, service charge & admin fees
- Service Charge (7%): included in site totals; non-refundable if you cancel voluntarily.
- Refund Admin Fee (£50 per passenger): applies where refunds are permitted by Fare Rules, in addition to airline/consolidator penalties and any third-party costs. We may waive this fee at our discretion in airline-caused cases.
- Other service fees (if applicable) for post-ticketing support (e.g., name corrections where allowed) will be communicated before actioning.
6) Crypto payments
- Irreversibility: Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. Verify network and address before paying.
- Network fees: You pay miner/validator fees; non-refundable.
- Under/over-payment: If underpaid due to fees/slippage, we may request a top-up before ticketing. Over-payments may be refunded less network fees.
- Refund currency & FX: When refunds are permitted, they are paid in GBP or in crypto at refund-time value, less network fees; original FX is not guaranteed.
- Supported assets only: Pay only with currencies/networks shown at checkout. Using an unsupported asset/network may result in loss of funds.
7) Passenger responsibilities
- Ensure names, dates and details are correct before confirming; post-ticketing changes may incur airline fees plus our admin fee.
- Check passport validity, visas (including transit visas), entry restrictions and health requirements for all destinations and connections.
- Allow adequate time for check-in/security/immigration and comply with airline rules. Monitor email/airline apps for updates.
- Self-transfer & separate tickets: If your journey relies on separate tickets, missed connections are not protected by airlines.
8) Cancellations, changes & refunds
- Voluntary cancellation: Unless stated otherwise at booking, tickets are non-refundable. If a fare is refundable, refund = ticket value per Fare Rules minus supplier penalties minus our £50/pax Admin Fee. The 7% Service Charge is non-refundable.
- Date/time changes: Only if permitted by Fare Rules; subject to airline charges and our Admin Fee. Any fare difference applies.
- Airline-initiated changes/cancellations: We will inform you using your provided contact details and assist with options offered by the airline or consolidator (reroute/refund). Any refund will follow Supplier rules. Our Admin Fee may apply; we may waive it at our discretion.
- Timelines: Refund processing is Supplier-dependent; typical airline timeframes are 6–12 weeks from submission. Crypto network/FX timing may add delays.
9) Schedule changes & EC261/UK261 (informational)
Rights for denied boarding, long delay or cancellation are determined by the operating carrier under EC261/UK261 or other applicable laws. Airlines decide eligibility and remedies (refund/reroute/compensation). We will help you communicate with the airline but do not control those decisions.
10) Liability limitation
- We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay or inconvenience caused by airlines, airports, border agencies, payment providers, Duffel or other third parties.
- Our maximum aggregate liability related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.
11) Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay due to events beyond reasonable control, including strikes, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, political events, sanctions changes or air traffic control decisions.
12) Fraud checks, KYC/AML & sanctions
- We may conduct identity and sanctions screening and request additional documents. If you do not cooperate or do not pass checks, we may cancel a booking and refund per Fare Rules.
- We may cancel any booking we consider fraudulent or suspicious and may involve law enforcement as required.
13) Ancillaries & special requests
Seat assignments, baggage, meals, assistance and other ancillaries are not guaranteed until confirmed by the airline; some may need to be purchased from the airline after booking.
